It's that time of year again -- BlogHer season. I had my Early Bird ticket and I was all set to go, and
then this happened, so with a heavy heart, I sold my ticket. This is not to say that I'd trade one for the other, because WHAT KIND OF MOTHER WOULD I BE? but nevertheless, I was looking forward to seeing the friends I made from last year's
BlogHer12 in NYC as well as meeting new bloggy & Twitter friends.
Anyway, I'll keep this sulk short since most of you will be in Chicago, likely drinking, and not reading this anyway! I've channeled my inner teen angst for this one . . .
YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.
I'm not going either, if it's any consolation... Yeah, I didn't think it would be.
ReplyDeleteNope not going.. I will sit here with ya drinking non alcoholic beverages and fanning you from the pregnancy hot flashes ...
ReplyDeleteHaha. Awe, thanks :)
ReplyDeleteAwe. You will be MISSED but I know we'll meet again. <3
ReplyDeleteI'm here alone in my writing cave as well. Meh. I've missed so many blogging conferences, I'm sure by now people must think I'm really an obese elderly guy with a fake picture.
ReplyDeletePshaw. I'm not going either, which means ALL THE COOL PEOPLE ARE STAYING AT HOME. That's my story and I'm sticking to it (while curled up in a ball, convinced that everyone will forget about me, quietly "unfollowing" everyone until after BlogHer is over.)
ReplyDeleteOK. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but I'm totally not there either. The end.
@Abby
ReplyDeleteHa! I have to admit that the Twitter hashtags get SUPER annoying --- when you're not actually there. Ugh. I might take a Twitter holiday this weekend. Ahem.
I'm not going. I have not had a year yet where I can justify the cost and the travel. But I'm hoping to go next year, depending on the location.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to a one of them. :( Maybe next year depending on the location.
ReplyDeleteNext year we should start an online sulk session for those of us left behind! We can all Skype in our PJ's and drink wine together! Who's in?!
ReplyDelete@Tracy
ReplyDeleteSounds good. I'll be sulking for next year's as well if it's announced it's on the West coast somewhere. Humph.
